For some of us speed is everything, we have become spoiled seeing that which can be reached by other classes, and we have seen those classes steal our skills, be they whirlwind sins or generic CtA weapon switchers. ![]() It is important that players prioritize offense or defense depending on their play style.Many have enjoyed the wonders of whirlwind throughout the days of barbarians and recently many have embraced the newly renovated concentrate barb builds, but what of our old friend Frenzy? How many times have you looked at a barb swing at his measly 9 or 10 frame pace and pondered giving his weapon to a druid or paladin? Hopefully never, but for those that have been tempted, there is an answer. The main build options focus on attack and defense differently, though none completely abandon one for the other. The enemies in Diablo 2: Resurrected vary in their own capabilities, so it is smart for players to equip their Barbarian with both offensive and defensive items. Since Barbarian builds all specialize in physical, close-up combat, going into battle with the right weapons and armor is essential. For all three of the main builds, players should max out the War Cry and Battle Order Warcries. Regarding skill points, how to spend them is decided by which build players have chosen. ![]() For the Barbarian, players should primarily focus on improving their strength, dexterity, and vitality skills, ignoring the energy attribute. With the Barbarian’s Combat Masteries tree, spending attribute points on the right weapons is key, which means players should have a pretty good idea of what type of weapons they will want to use. Like all classes in Diablo 2: Resurrected, a good place to start when creating the best Barbarian build is to know how to spend attribute and skill points. ![]()
